Now, eventually, Geralt will have accomplished every quest across the Continent, at which point any leveling will become an excruciatingly slow grind. Likewise, the witcher can gain more experience from quests that out-level him. Six levels or more above and Geralt's experience gain drops to a fraction from that of recommended quest levels. Geralt will gain less experience from quests the more significantly he out-levels them.
Geralt will gain experience from quests and kills and these work in slightly different ways.
